Hi, my name is Alyssa (Miss Lyssa) and I am so blessed to be part of the Little Beginnings Team! I moved to Hastings from Wisconsin in 2024 when we decided to start our family. I have only just begun my professional career in teaching, but have worked with children for over 14 years. Prior to daycare, I was a Development Services Coordinator at an architectural and engineering firm! I have spent a lot of time traveling, gaining life experiences, and working my way up in my professional career. As a child, I attended over 5 years of bible camp that made up some of my favorite memories, and I participated in many community events and mission trips. I enjoy bringing whimsy and a new perspective to the classroom, and believe a hug from a toddler could truly fix any bad day. When I’m not working, I’m usually at home with my boyfriend, our little boy, and our dog, going for walks or watching hockey. I also enjoy reading, crafting, puzzling, baking, and dancing to my records with our baby in the living room.
