Did you know

Child Care Centers are typically a very safe place to send your child, even amongst a virus pandemic.  We already cleaned every day, actively taught the children to wash their hands, and focused on safety measures throughout the center.  Now, we simply have to put a bigger focus on those basic measures.

Here at Little Beginnings, we’ve taken the safety of children, staff, and families into an even greater consideration with COVID around.

We currently:

  • Keep children in cohorts to maintain a smaller circle as much as possible
  • Keep staff in cohorts as much as possible
  • Allow adults to wear masks while in the building, based on health and vaccination levels
  • Have hand sanitizer at the entrance to the facility
  • Offer and encourage remote child check-in and out from your vehicle to reduce time among others
  • Allow staff to wear masks during drop-off and pick-up times and when they are outside of their classroom
  • Clean the center daily, focusing on high touch areas even more so

Staying Current

Our COVID-Preparedness Plan is in place.  This document helps outline what we do to stay safe and how we can help keep others clean and safe as well.

On top of all of that, we work closely with our Public Health Nurse.  She is able to stay current on guidelines and recommendations from the state, ensuring that we have the latest and correct information each day.
